With high school final exams disappearing into the dust behind them, Trampoline Death Machine faced the infinite potential spanning in front of them. Lips grinning, head on.

After completing Gasoline Washing Machine - an EP recorded over a few school-holidays through the ages of 15 to 16,
TDM refined this album and reworked it relentlessly upon the stages of small and smoky Melbourne pubs. School night rehearsals, and school night gigs. Imagine...

A crowd of o’couple loyal friends, the support band, and the legendary parent who gave the gear a lift in the car. The troubling nightmares of chaotic occasions when parents couldn’t give lifts, and bass amps or kick drums were lugged onto trams and trains. The cheeky school-night beers when the unsuspecting pub gave our underage grinning faces a beer on the rider. Ahh, those harmless, cheeky, we'll-see-what-happens gigs…
The rock and roll risk of never knowing if u’ll be able to play your own show. The thrill of walking past the bouncer at the front door, a guitar case in hand, standing up as straight as possible, with your shoulders far back, trying to look as old as possible, whilst staring straight into the abyss.

But, if there is one posted there, patrolling the only entrance, and they demand to inspect your identification: psych them out.
If your a 17 years old, give a bouncer your ID, and hold a straight face.
Trust me.

However, the lowest of lows was when TDM got denied entry to a show they were supporting. The sour cherry-on-top was they had to wait for the bass amp to be used (which had just been mished over to the other side of town via public transport.) Gig gear sharing is a moral obligation, and the headline act needed a bass cab. They didn't realise TDM's deficiency in independent transportation.

But sulk not, Trampoline know how to make fun from glum. Frown spinners upside down. Restriction breeds creativity.
Play pool instead.
This weekly routine, of ritual after school practices and risky gigs, ran from the years 2016-2018 (when the band members themselves were aged 16-18. And after going into highbernation during final exams, Trampoline Death Machine emerged, shining bright with the flame of youth.

United with their brother-band, MudShaker, (together forming TrampaMud Death CraftShaker) and armed with only DIY recording equipment, payed for by saved-up gig money, the band of friends migrated to a cabin in the bush, embarking upon a mission to record a Debut Double LP: The Delirium Of Viking, a concept record, which tells the tale of an album, who becomes self aware.

The story goes it:

Viking - an introduction to the main character, (or, if you want extra marks, our Protagonist.)
And What is the Quest of the story? - Well, that's the question. To work out What the Quest is.
So, Viking sets upon a mission. Unfortunately, he is then ambushed by a Scary Tree.
Wise Owl saves him, luckily.
He asks The Owl for it’s opinion, if it could please answer his question.
The Owl could not, but it knew who could, so it took Viking to the
The Birds sanctuary. There, he met a Catbird - a Cat disguised as a Bird.
Initially, they had lots of fun, but like a bubble, this fun was ephemeral.
The Catbird was not what it initially advertised itself to be,
Then The Cat ate the Wise Owl up for tea.

Now a lone wolf, Viking enters the Parliament of Hoot
He asks The Birds who were perched there, wisdom emitting from their feather, 'what’s the point of it all?', so they did break, the 4th wall.
Viking discovers his blood does not run through his veins, but along the squiggles, of an audio wave.
Viking finds out what he is to be.
What is the quest? Well, the quest is,
that Viking is to be
An LP.

Does not know now, what to do, now he knows he’s being listened to by you.
No fun. Knowing what’s going on is like looking at The Sun.
He’s lost, and wants some comfort food. Oh my car, Where is my dude?
And then it dawns on him. Just like that. I don’t know why, maybe he was listening to George Harrison, when he realised:
All things must pass. And as he is an album, a thing, he therefore too, must end.

It’s the situation of life.
But, whilst an album, like all things, must finish,
